Obituary of Colleen Catherine McChesney

Colleen Catherine McChesney, 61, of Brampton Ontario passed away on Thursday April 25, 2019 at Brampton Civic Hospital from complications of poor health. Colleen was born in Etobicoke on June 24, 1957 to parents William and Ellen (McKeown) McChesney. Sister to brother Bill McChesney and the late Cheryl Shewell. She was a devoted Mom to her loving daughters Leamber and Ashley; their husbands Joseph and Marizu. A cherished Grandma to Anthony, Leah, Latisha, Adrienna, Kamoni, Zara, Akachi, Jessica & Josiah. Colleen was humble and down to earth. She lived life whole heartedly; with dedication and passion for her family, friends and work. She enjoyed nothing more than a warm cup of tea and the sun shining on her face. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. “My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart: He is mine forever.” Psalm 73:26 Cremation has taken place; Memorial Visitation will take place at the In Memoriam Life Celebration Centre, 633419 Highway 10, Mono, Ontario on Sunday May 5, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. In memory of Colleen the family would prefer bright colorful clothing – black to a minimum. In Lieu of flowers donations made to the Diabetes Association of Canada would be appreciated.
