Obituary of Ben VanderByl

VanderByl, Bernard “Ben” Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at Bethell House Hospice, Inglewood, on Monday July 1, 2019 at the age of 73. Cherished husband of Pam for 53 years; loving Dad of Trisha (Patrick), Darren (Lisa) and Brandon (Angela); the best Opa of Connor, Cassidy, Charlie, Leah, Emma and Alex; remembered by his brother Jan (Barb); predeceased by his brother Menno (Frances). Ben will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends. The family would like to thank the cancer care team at Southlake Hospital, the Bayshore nurses and Dr. Mercedes Rodriguez. A special thank you to the incredible caring and compassionate staff and volunteers at Bethell House Hospice. A Celebration of Ben’s Life will be held on Saturday July 6th, 2019 at the In Memoriam Life Celebration Centre, 633419 Highway 10, Mono from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Words of Remembrance will take place at 2:00 p.m. Ben’s passion was his family and everything country.
