Obituary of William Hull

William Hull (Billy/Bill) died peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Monday July 8 in Orangeville, Ontario at the age of 74. Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Diane and his son Christopher and his wife Kristine. Bill was born on November 21, 1944 in Larne, Northern Ireland. He immigrated to Canada in 1974 and met his future wife, a teacher, in Scarborough, Ontario and they married on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1984. In May of 1984 he obtained a farm position with Rowntree Farms in Brampton, Ontario where he and his wife set up their first home and welcomed their only son, Christopher on April 7, 1985. After the farm was sold the family moved to Inglewood, Ontario. Diane went back to full-time teaching and Bill found his way to Roxanne Mountain’s Inglewood General Store where he inadvertently invented “Billy Cakes” and looked after “his girls”. Bill always found the time to put his “two cents” into Christopher’s business, In the Hills Landscaping. A final move in 2014 took the family to a beautiful home in Erin, Ontario. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday July 20 from 11 am to 4 pm at 173 Daniel Street in Erin, Ontario. Extra parking is available at Erin Public School just north on Daniel Street.
