Obituary of Sally Marlatt

Sally Marlatt (nee Amodeo) passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the age of 72. She was the daughter of the late Biagio and Augustina Amodeo, and was the youngest of her siblings Dorothy (dec), Art (dec), Lee (dec), Josie and Marie. Sally was born on May 19, 1947. She grew up in Toronto, Ontario and worked in the family fruit market at Queen and Lansdowne. She married the love of her life, the late Wayne Marlatt, on May 19, 1974. Shortly after, they moved to Brampton. They started their family, welcoming William (1976) and Robert (1978). Sally worked as a librarian for the Brampton Public Library for over 20 years. Sally's greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. The happiness Sally had when she was with her sons and grandchildren was always evident, and her love knew no bounds. Sally will be lovingly remembered by her sons William (Lindsey) and Robert (Laura), sisters Josie and Marie, and brother in law Joe (Sheila). She will be forever remembered by her granddaughter Carlyn, her grandson Garrett, and all her neices and nephews. "Those that we love never truly leave us.
