Obituary of Barbara Christine Childs

CHILDS, Barbara Passed away peacefully at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, on January 28, 2020 at the age of 61. Beloved wife of Robert Childs, loving mother of Christina Childs and Wesley Greig (son-in-law), Cliff & Jean Childs (daughter-in-law), loving Nana of Kaileagh Childs & Ryker Greig, sister of Eva Van Linthout and Mark Van Linthout (brother-in-law), Sandy Childs & Debbie Hood (sister-in-law), loving aunt to Jennifer Van Linthout, Michelle Ozimec and great aunt to Rhea Taylor, Christopher Ozimec and Lucas Ozimec. Predeceased by her parents Stanley Krauze and Christine Krauze (Rosel). Barbara was an extremely loving and generous person. She would give anything to anyone. For almost 20 years, she was a care provider for Robert Childs, due to a traumatic brain injury in 2001. She cared for her parents as well, in their last days. My mom went through so much in her last 3 months and fought a hard battle against her cancers. First breast cancer and then lung cancer. My poor beautiful mommy will be beyond missed by my dad, me and her grand babies who meant more to her then anything. Barbara will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A memorial mass will be held at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Alliston - 190 King St S, Alliston, ON, on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 10:00 am.
