Huber Leo Moura
August 12, 1957 – September 22, 2024
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Huber Leo Moura at Brampton Civic Hospital on September 22nd, 2024, at the age of 67.
He will be missed by his loved ones, Kathy, Luz, Mabel, Ruben, Mari, Mima, Richard, Ramon, Yolanda, Sabrina and Juana.
He will also be missed by his son Leonardo (Christina), and his grandchildren Fabian, Melena and Natalie, son Adrian (Valeria) and grandson Anthony, and former partner (Andrea) and grandchildren Dacio and Camillo, daughter Mavi (Nathaniel) and granddaughter Kassia, and step-son Fernado (Karina).
Born to parents Regino and Dinorat Moura on August 12th, 1957, in Montevideo, Uruguay, Leo was a man who loved until he cried. His jokes and antics made you laugh until you cried.
He played professional football (soccer), for Perfil del Museo de Club Atlético River Plate, from 1979 to early 1982 in Uruguay, South America. His love for the sport and team never faded and spoke about his time as a player often.
Even though sorrow may linger through a long dark night, the sun will eventually rise again in the heart.
