Thomas Moodie Brown

Thomas Moodie Brown at 93 years of age, from Brampton, Ontario, died on September 16th , 2024, after a brief illness.
He was born on September 2, 1931, to Barbara (Moodie) and Thomas Brown in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland and moved to Canada in 1947.
He married Bette Dickson in 1955, and they had three children – Rob, Keith & Susan. He had a thirty-five year career with Bell Canada and retired in 1989.
He was a fantastic father, father-in-law and grandfather. He coached his boys in soccer and baseball and taught his daughter the ways of tools and DIY. He loved to bake and became “world renowned” for his Scottish Shortbread and Cherry Cheesecake. He gave to the community through charitable volunteering and donated blood well over 100 times. He travelled all over the world with Yvonne Seaton until her passing.
He is survived by his children Keith (Wendy) and Susan (Tony), grandchildren Andrew, Katie (Nick) Jen (Chase), Elizabeth & Kristin (Josh) and great-grandchildren Rachel & Nickolas. He was pre-deceased by his wife Bette in 1984, his son Rob in 2007 and his companion Yvonne in 2015.
