Jeff supported installation of equipment for Schlegel Villages. He was wonderful to work with! I’m usually on-site early and Jeff always beat me and I would kid him about that.
I will miss working with him…my personal and organizational condolences to his family!

Shocked to hear the news of Jeff's sudden passing. Had the pleasure of curling with Jeff as a teammate and a competitor for many years at the Orangeville Curling Club. We was great at both. To all of Jeff's family and friends,
I worked with Jeff at Sara Lee for a few years before my retirement and he was a great worker and was always smiling. He got along with everyone at the office and served his customers well. I thought of Jeff as a good friend as well as a co-worker. He spoke highly of his family and of the great times they had at their trailer. He will be missed by all.

I was so shocked & saddened when my former Sara Lee colleague called me on Aug. 13th with such sad news of Jeff’s sudden passing. I was thinking of Jeff just last week.
Jeff was very nice to me. We had great laughs at our coffee machine installations. I cannot believe that Jeff is gone. I am lost for words. My prayers are with your family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Jeff's passing. I had the opportunity to work with him for several years in the Foodservice group at Smucker. He would always look at me and laugh really hard whenever I asked if he would let me work on the equipment. He knew I would mess something up! My condolences to his friends and family.

Condolences to the family. Jeff and I didn't talk much outside of curling, but we always picked right back up our conversation and friendship whenever we saw each other. We sure had a lot of fun curling together - and I wish I had told him how much I appreciated him letting me learn to skip under his guidance - even if I never did hit the broom! He was my first call last summer when we were in trouble with ice technicians - and the entire club is grateful for the enthusiasm, knowledge and time he invested in being an integral part of the ice team last year. His love and pride for his girls and grand kids was obvious in any conversation. He will be missed.

This is so hard to believe.
I’ve known Jeff probably since I first joined the club back in...who knows how long ago. He was an amazingly friendly and helpful person. A great team-mate as well as opponent. Our lockers were opposite each other, and no matter when we arrived there, before or after a game, we both seemed to be occupying the space and joked about stalking each other. He was always able to look at the lighter side of every situation. As I was mentioning to a fellow member earlier today, he was fun to work with, talk to, play with, and play against. You really can’t ask for much more.
It’s all very shocking and sad. I will miss him terribly.
My best to his family, and especially his grandchildren who, I know through conversations, meant the world to him.

I was so sad to hear of Jeff's passing. I worked with him at Smucker's for the past 8 years, and he was always available to help me and my team out when needed, often in stressful situations and came with a joke and a smile to brighten our days.
