Obituary of Bruce Eric DOWNEY

February 18, 1954 – June 12, 2024

It is with sadness we share the passing of our beloved brother Bruce, after a brief illness with cancer, on Wednesday, June 12^th, 2024 at the age of 70.

Bruce is remembered by his siblings Anna, Mark, Larry and Sherry.  He is predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Helen Downey and siblings Phil and Sandy.  Bruce will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Bruce was a collector of precious treasures because someone could always use it.  His jokes and smiles will be sadly missed.  We will walk beside him on his nature walks and he will forever be in our hearts.

Our thanks are extended to the staff of Headwaters Health Care Centre and the Dufferin Paramedics.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
