I recently heard of Jim’s passing. My condolences to all his family and friends.
After all these years, (Early 80’s), I have thought of him, and shared stories with more recent friends, right up to present time. I was one of Houston’s At The Mill, & Tracks Brew Pub’s main Bartenders.
“Jim’s nickname, Mr. Social Butterfly”
I can still visualize him sitting in a chair with customers, with his leg Crossed and his hand on the side of his face, Talking up a storm.
To this present day, Something he always said to me, I share with others;
“Cyndie, Some things just never change”
Rest easy my Ol’ Friend

Jim and I went to the same public school and shared many hours hanging out at Agnes Taylor skating, playing baseball and just plain old kid shenanigans. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed life. I ran into him several times over the years and he was still smiling and laughing. Sorry to hear of his passing at such a young age. RIP Jim.

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We shared so many great times and I considered him a friend and sometimes the pesky younger brother I never had. He will be truly missed and fondly remembered. My condolences to the family.

I remember Jim as always kind, generous and respectful. He was a friend to my father before I knew him and when I first met him 18 years ago he spoke to me like he was my friend right away. Jimmy always tried to make you feel a little better. So sorry for the family to have to experience this loss. He was loved and appreciated by many and will be greatly missed.
