Obituary of Suzanne Catherine HERON

September 5, 1946 - April 15, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Suzanne Catherine Heron, on Monday, April 15, 2024. Surrounded by all her family; Sue passed peacefully at home at the age of 77.

Beloved wife of the late David Heron. Sue will be forever missed by her daughters Diane Heron (Chad Caners) and Julie Ahlborn (Jason). Devoted and proud grandmother to Ryan Ahlborn. Sue will be fondly remembered by her sister Judy. Sue is predeceased by brothers Tom and John.  

Sue was a people person who loved her family and friends. Her legacy was helping others who were in need whether it be caregiving, lending an ear for someone who needed to be heard, or baking some of her delicious treats. Her spirit, laughter and unwavering support touched everyone she knew.

Sue loved sitting on her deck next to her pool, with family and friends. She would spend countless hours feeding the chipmunks and birds as she had a real love for wildlife. She took pride in her gardens, lawns and property as she would sit in the evening admiring the work that was done.

Sue will be dearly missed but never forgotten!

A Celebration of Suzanne’s life will be held at a later date.
