Dave invited Bruce and me to live in the old shack that used to stand on his property after he heard about our house fire.
Our Sheepadoodle puppy Marven was his go-to when the cows got out. :)
We loved living there, and I will really miss Dave's voice on the other end of the phone when he or I would call for a chat.
