We are very sorry to hear about the loss of Eleanor. I first met Eleanor 40 years ago when my sister, Alison, started dating Eleanor’s son, Ted. My most vivid memory of Eleanor, was when our families grew in numbers, and we would meet up at family gatherings. Eleanor was always very careful to remember everyone’s name and occupation and fun activities. She took great efforts to make the rounds and speak to everyone in the room. So very rewarding and considerate, especially for those who did not see her frequently. Such a beautiful compliment.
Eleanor will be missed and remembered very fondly.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Eleanor in the last few years. I enjoyed her joie de vivre, and vibrant spirit. We had many conversations about her love of animals and her family. It was a pleasure to know her. My condolences to Ted and Alison and the rest of Eleanor's family.

I have such happy memories of Eleanor from when she was a member of Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist, in Toronto and would .bring my Sunday School classmate, Lynn, to church. I remember parties at the Pimbert home, and Eleanor made them seem so easy. It always seemed that she had a smile on her face. She graciously put me up when I visited Toronto for Christian Science class association meetings, and we'd sit around the table catching up on each other's news. She made one feel relaxed and at ease, no bother at all.
My love to the Pimbert family, and gratitude to God for Eleanor.

Dear Pimberts - Thank you for sharing Elinor with me on so many occasions when she would visit with you on one of her many car rides to the farm to see what we were doing with the horses. She often loved to stand by the gate and later sit in a chair to watch them. I will miss her and her enthusiastic questions.
Fondly, Joanna

My Mum-in-Law was always thankful for those around her, and especially her son in these last months. She lived by Carpe Diem, She was always ready to get up and go. On a car ride, or to the barn - where she always expressed how much she loved the smell of horses. Her special words were - 'Volunteers' for self seeding flowers and weeds, 'Memorable' for good times, and she expressed enjoyment at learning, and re-learning, things.
