Obituary of Peggy GLEESON

July 26, 1936 - February 26, 2024

On February 26, 2024 Malvena (Peggy) was called home to be with the Lord in her 88th year at the Collingwood Nursing Home, Collingwood, ON.

Peggy was the devoted wife of Brian Gleeson (2022) for 53 years. Proud Mother of Michael Gleeson (Susan) and Martin Gleeson. Adored grandmother to Amanda Mailloux (Justin) and Cameron MacDonald. Great grandmother to Mya Mailloux, Jordyn Snider and Alexis Quessy (Matthew Ram) and great great grandmother to Kyler Ram. Peggy will be missed by her sister Audrey “Girly”. Peggy is predeceased by her siblings Pat Bellerby, Roy James (Gloria), Joan Vankoughnet (Hugh), Raymond James, Gwen Rowley (Earl) and Barry James.

Peggy was a wonderful and caring women and will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.

If so desired, donations in memory of Peggy may be made to Tweedsmuir Memorial Presbyterian Church, Orangeville.

A Celebration of Peggys life will take place at In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. 28 Main St., North, Grand Valley on Friday March 15th, 2024, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
