Marion was my special friend who gently but firmly twisted my arm to convince me to run for Union President. We served the union together for 12 years sharing long telephone conversations and lots of time together. She was my "right hand man" and I would have been lost without her especially in the beginning. Having children at similar ages we shared lots of family stories and I know that family meant everything to Marion! How she loved Dan and was so proud of Holly and Mark and then Braeden and Zackary who were the apple of her eye!
She was an honest and hard working person with a big, compassionate heart...a friend who was always supportive and caring. I was blessed to have known her and I will always treasure our friendship.
My heartfelt condolences to Dan, Holly and Mark and family.

I've known Marion for 26 years we worked together as PSW'S. When we first worked together I didn't know what to think. Her sarcasm made you feel like you weren't sure how to take her were you doing a good job or a bad one. So everytime I saw that red head come around the corner I would duck into a room lol. But you can't do that forever. As time went on I learnt she wasn't that scary at all. She was a hard working kind and generous person.
4 years ago when I was diagnosed with cancer it was right at the start of Covid I had to have surgery Marion offered to pay for me to take a taxi home if I didn't have a ride. That's the kind of person she was. Always thinking of others.
Love and miss you.

Marion was one of my best friends. We knew each other for 35 years. Even though we lived kilometers apart we were very close. She was always there when I needed to talk.
I will miss her so much.
Looking forward to seeing you again my friend.

Sending my deepest condolences to you, Holly and the rest of your family. Marion was an amazing woman. She had taught me so many things in my nursing career. I first met her when I was in high school doing my co-op as HCA she pushed me and told me that I would be an amazing nurse. When I first started out as a PSW, she was my mentor. She taught me so many things about respect and dignity, and how to make the residence feel meaningful. She took me under her wing and gave me all the tools I needed to be the best PSW. Her passion and desire with many families in this community, as well as at work in the nursing field shows the great woman she is. Your mom is an angel, and I will never forget her as she was my mentor and I have a special place in my heart for her.
