Obituary of Raven Clay CLEMENTS
Raven Clay Clements
September, 21 2007-November, 28 2023
It is with greatest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Raven Clay Clements in his 16th year, surrounded by his ever-loving family, November 28th, 2023.
Raven is survived by his devoted parents Cory and Lisa Clements (née Wright). Raven will be missed by his siblings; Jesse, Michael and Dominica. His grandparents John and Ena Wright, Kathy and Ed Keuken. As well as many other family and friends who were blessed to have known him.
Raven was the proud big brother to Michael and will forever be his protector.
Raven overcame every obstacle that was put in his path of his very short life. He loved being with his family and friends. Snuggling with his dog Akita and taking care of any animals that came into his life.
He was always giving as much love as he possibly could. He had an amazing laugh and had the most wicked sense of humor. Anyone who met him knew he had the kindest soul. He stood for what was right and had a beautiful moral compass.
With his life being so short, we know he was put on this earth to guide others, to show care and love. With his sudden passing he has taught others to be the best that they can be and to continue to give love and care for the ones who aren’t seen. To continue to take in the animals who need help. To keep fighting.
With him being so giving, he is also giving the gift of life to many strangers.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Humane Society in memory of Raven.
My Final Gift
It is now time for me to move on
Into the dusk, but also the dawn.
I will remain as the morning comes
As I’ve left behind a gift for someone.
So, another may walk, may talk, may see
Where their life was locked, I offered a key.
I am a donor to someone in need
My final gift, my final deed.
Take them with you
If someone you love
did not make it on that trip
you can take it
for them
with them.
If someone you love
did not witness that milestone
you can show them
anytime you like.
If someone you love
did not get to do their living
you can finish those dreams
on their behalf.
The beautiful thing about love
you see
is that death
need not stop life.
If you carry someone
In your heart
you can take them with you
anywhere you like.
