Sorry to hear that Doug passed away - lost the last battle at last. I'll always have fond memories of him at Bluewater Beach - on the boat, by the campfire, riding horses or just camping out on his lot. Always getting into trouble from what my dad (Tom) and Larry said - the stories will survive him and bring chuckles to those who knew him. My condolences to all of you.

5 generations. Dad was always proud to be part of a generation of 5. He told me at the hospital that he wanted to live long enough to be the 5th on top. Oh man, Told him not going to happen. That meant my 15 yr old grandaughter-Julia- would have to have children!!!

It is with great sadness that I am writing this. Doug was a great cousin. I only have very fond memories of him. You will be forever missed and forever remembered. Loving condolences to your family.

Doug had a loving heart for everyone who knew him and even up to his death referred to me as his “favourite daughter-in-law” (knowing I was the only DIL).
He will be truly missed and I send my condolences to all the family. RIP Doug

My brother Doug. ❤ He was a great dancer in younger years. The dance floor would clear to watch him and his partner. He loved playing board games and cards with family and friends. A life well lived. He will be missed by many.

Cousin Doug, quite the character. I will never forget him teaching me to swim. Managed to get to the tower at bluewater beach, climbed up and he said sink or swim and pushed me off. Guess what, I can swim. Lol great memories. Will miss him very much. Always was happy to see him.
