Our condolences to Susan, Randy and your families. Over the years we have had many fond memories of having Orville as our neighbour on the corner of our farm. Paul would get a call to blow his lane out when the snow got too deep or if his car needed to be checked out. He was a wonderful man and a great neighbour. Orville will be sadly missed.

Susan and Randy, so sorry for your and your families' loss. This marks the end of an era for a generation of the Baird family. Uncle Orville was one of our favorites with his kindness, keen sense of humor and infectious laugh. He attended many of our family Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner gatherings which helped make our sense of family complete since the loss of Dad. He knew more about the Baird family history than anyone else I know and was very proud of the family legacy. He will be dearly missed.

Condolences from the Beckner family. Charlie and I, personally, remember a bad snow storm that put anyone travelling up second line onto their feet. By the time we got to Orville’s, he had plenty of company and was prepared to feed and bed them down for the night. Luckily for us, Dan got the big tractor out and was able to make it over the hills and drifts from fourth line and come get us. Our loss was in not getting to visit, we will not forget his kindness,
