Spent many years working (sometimes) ! with Al in Gilbey’s and later Diageo. He was a very kind and comical guy, we got on so well together. Not too long ago I spoke with him on the telephone and was very touched by his outlook ,and courage ,in the face of this insidious disease.
Rest well my friend, your ordeal is over.
