I am the only son of Gillian Besso. I had a great love for my mother during good and separation times. My memory of her were being closely connected to her parents and extended family. Close to Christmas I especially recalled family reunions and Mother’s day at a park (Kelso). I will remember her love for the beach, for meeting people and our times living in California. She mostly remembered me on my birthday and at Christmas time. I think of her more now that she is gone from this world and am hoping she is in a better place now.
Alzheimer Syndrome is a horrible disease and health epidemic in our society. It takes our loved ones away before their end of time. I feel deep in my soul that her spirit has received Amazing Grace.
I hope that this news also reaches her second daughter, Pam and all extended family.
I will always love you very much.
