I am so blessed to have had the pleasure to have known Bobbie Lynn. She truly embodied the kindest and brightest soul which radiated from the inside out, positively impacting each individual around her. Since she selflessly and graciously allowed me to stay with her at her home with open arms as I was finishing high-school, I had the opportunity to get to know the amazing person that she was and will never forget. She is the matcha queen for sure and has inspired my now favourite drink- matcha with coconut milk!! I wish I had the chance to tell her how grateful I am for her welcoming me so open-mindedly. However, I will always hold the memories close in my heart and I am happy to know that she’s now at peace, surrounded by her loved ones up above. Lots of love. Rest in peace.

Bobbie Lynn is my bff and I am so blessed by her presence in my life.
Bobbie Lynn and I were destined to meet as the universe conspired to bring us together in the most amazing way when I look back at how it all unfolded.
We grew up in the same area and even went to the same public school, me being older than Bobbie Lynn meant we didn’t actually meet each other until years later when we both signed up to take a reflexology course. It was in that course that we were instantly drawn to one another, and began studying and spending time together becoming friends.
I am so grateful that we had the time together to express the myriad of thoughts and feelings; our love, to one another especially over these last few weeks, we cried so many tears and still managed to laugh through them.
I wrote a letter to her when we first found out she had cancer and she asked me to read it to her the other week. We cried through the whole thing, I’m actually amazed I made it through, I did because I knew how important it was to her to hear me speak it out loud.
I want to share it here because it conveys how I feel and so that even those that did not know her will come to know the beautiful soul that she is.
My Dear Sweet Bobbie Lynn,
There are no words that can articulate the depth of my feelings for you. How does one express a bond that runs soul deep in words that are only of the physical .
There is a transcendence to our friendship, an ethereal quality that knows no time or space.
You are my soul and I am yours, that is how intrinsically we are woven. The bonds of our connection are eternal, this I know for certain.
So now I must try to find the words to express this in the here and now and I pray that you hear this in the language of light, for it transcend mortality and eternity.
You mean the world to me! You, I hold as a precious gift. You are beautiful, thoughtful and compassionate. You don’t think yourself expressive yet you are. You express through your acts of care and kindness.
You are to be admired because you always strive to be your best self, acting from such strong dedication to your own healing and growth. I have had the privilege of being witness to your chrysalis creating its wings and taking flight in so many amazing ways. I want you to see yourself through the eyes of my soul, see that your light is beyond any wonder that we can witness here on earth, you shine that brightly. I wish you to know your magnificence, your utter strength and courage, your wisdom, your faith, above all, this is your truth, You are the light of Love and I want you to know it to the depths of your radiant core.
I feel blessed beyond measure to have you in my life. We have been and always will be partners, for together we make each other better.
I see you! I see you! I see you! I honour and celebrate you!
If there is a gift that can be defined within our friendship it is this - together we hold unconditional love for one another, so do not worry that you have not experienced love, for what greater love is there than a love of friends that holds no bonds or limitation, only the desire for each to experience all the wonder and joy that this life offers. I hold this for you always.

I grew up with Bobby Lynn and family behind our house. We went to elementary school together and she always had a smile. We would chat when we ran into each other and catch up. She was lovely. I also knew Owen quite well from the fire dept. great family to go through such horrible loss.

I met Bobbie Lynn first at our Alpha Program at St Timothy's many years ago. She was the most beautiful and generous member of group, I remember her hospitality hosting our group meetings at her home. She became an active member of our parish. Her daughter Courtney & our grandson Joshua are close friends, both were active members of Lifeteen Group at St Tim's and both considered pursuing a religious vocation when they were young.
