Joseph "Ray" Roy

February 15, 1935 - August 1, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Raymond (Ray) Roy.

Ray was born in Petit Rocher, New Brunswick on February 15, 1935.

He passed away on August 1, 2023. He is predeceased by his parents, Leo and Lilliane Roy, and his sisters, Bernice, Esther, Aurilie, Elodie and Yvette.  He is survived by his children, Marc and Monique (Steve), his grandchildren Melissa (Jon), Jeff (Cheyenne) and his great grandson Miles, and our extended families, including Shirley and Karen. He was an inspiration to all of us, a friend to many, especially, dear friends Linda, Ashley and family. Ray was proud to serve many years as a sergeant in the RCAF, which led to a rewarding career as a radar technician. He was fortunate to have a very fulfilling retirement. He achieved great things, during his experience doing Judo (Tora Judo Club–Brampton) and parachuting (Parachute School Of Toronto-Arthur). Ray was a mentor to many, helpful and very caring. To those of us that had the honour to spend time with him, we will remember him fondly for his intelligence, his ability to laugh and make us laugh. Thanks Ray, for everything!!
