Obituary of Jean ZORYCHTA

Wilma "Jean" Zorychta ( November 30th, 1944- June 26th, 2023)

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of this beautiful woman.  Beloved wife of James Zorychta for 58 years, Mother of Michael, Jim(Jodee), Grandmother to Andrew(Shaun), Sydney(Stephan), Aden, Ellie(Brandon), bonus Grandma to Molly and Great Grandma to Westley, Mac, Jackson, Piper and Beau.

Jean was a treasured member of her community and worked at Dufferin Oaks for a number of years. She enjoyed the residents who lived there and was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. For those of you who knew Jean, you would agree her good nature and beautiful smile was always present and she adored her family with all her heart.  

Our mom was kind hearted and loving and provided encouragement for us while we were growing up. We enjoyed family trips together, BBQ's, life accomplishments and everyday events. She was happy and fun to be with and always the first person to offer help for anything that we needed. Our Dads love was enormous and his continuous support for mom was inspiring in the last years of her life. 

The family would like to thank the caregivers and doctors at Strathcona Village Home for caring for our mother.
