Celebration of Life
Obituary of Andrea Suzanne GERNACK
Andrea Suzanne Gernack, age 52 of Orangeville ON, passed away on Tuesday May 16th, 2023, at St. Micheal’s Hospital in Toronto, ON.
Andrea was a woman that could be defined in many ways. A loving mother to Adrianne Mallozzi and Patrick Bogoje; a big sister to Heather Gernack; a proud daughter to Carole and Thomas Gernack, but most of all she was a force of nature.
Nicknamed “Hammer” or “Lola” by her Qwest and Iron-cowgirl family, Andrea was the woman to call when you needed someone to tell it to you straight. She was kind and compassionate in spite of every hardship she faced and never let the obstacles of life get in her way. From every life changing event to the smallest inconveniences, She sat through it all—be it in a plane, a transport truck, or a motorcycle—with a smile and determination made of steel; in fact, I can guarantee you, she was smiling right through her last ride into the sunset, to continue her yellow brick road elsewhere.
Andrea, stayed in our realm for just long enough to help better 8 lives as an organ donor, but who could expect anything less? That was the woman we all knew and loved. And so, In memory of her life, and all the ways she changed the world, there will be a celebration of life held on June 17th, 2023 at 9820 Ski Road, Clifford ON, N0G 1M0, where family and friends can gather for one final toast. Ride will be at 10 am and The Memorial will be held at 1 pm.
