Obituary of Gloria Delcarmen SEGOVIA
Gloria was a wife, a mother, a sister and an amazing friend to many people. Her gentle spirit lifted up the lives of all who loved her and her strength to survive immigrating to Canada from Chile was incredible. From the Belt Country of South America, Chile, to the Canadian Wilderness of Canada, Mummi you survived many challenges in your life. You were a beacon of hope to many.
She was a dedicated mother and lover of animals. She was a generous soul, giving when she had nothing to give. Her legacy and love for life will be carried on by her four children, grandchildren and great grandchild, whom she adored. She is and was one of the kindest and classiest ladies I’ve ever known. God bless both my parents who gave it their all and survived so many obstacles together.
She now will be reunited with her husband, Edison Jorge Segovia. On May 12, 2023, Gloria Delcarmen Segovia, my beautifully brave mother, joined my father in heaven. Sadly, the battle with Dementia was your last one.
She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family. Rest in peace Mummi, until we meet again.
Love you always!
Your Mother,
is always with you. She's the whisper of
the leaves as you walk down the street,
she's the smell of certain foods you
remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance
of life itself. She's the cool hand on your
brow when you're not feeling well, she's
your breath in the air on a cold winter's
day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls
you to sleep, the colours of a rainbow, she
is the Christmas morning. Your mother lives
inside your laughter. She's the place you
came from, your first home, and she's the
map you follow with every step you take.
She's your first love, your first friend,
even your first enemy, but nothing on
earth can separate you. Not time, not
space... not even death.
