The late Dalton Carl Shipway was a great friend of mine at Boston/ Harvard universities in Massachusetts USA , I was a Fulbright Fellow & Scholar from Asia / Singapore & Malaya ! He was my first great fellow American with Canadian friendly outlook @ out reach / I adapted as a Fulbright & Scholar because of Dalton abilities, I even got to know his Shipway family including his younger brother Allan and his Mom in Toronto I missed dear fellow I didn’t know his passing and funeral still I have no doubt that THE LORD GOD’s Blessings of love grace and life everlasting is with him.

Rest in Peace Dalton. You did lasting work on the Don River revitalization projects. While working for the City of Toronto - I got to know Dalton at several meetings we had on the Don River and water quality issues along the water front. Dalton was always a well respected voice in the room championing the improvements to the Don. He will be missed. Rest in peace knowing you did good work.

I remember Dalton fondly for his passion to Bring Back the Don, for his work at initiating this endeavour, for leading walks along the Don and for his concern for the environment. Also, he always acknowledged me when I saw him working in Noah's Natural Foods store.
