It’s almost unbelievable that a whole year has passed since we lost you. I think about you every day and I miss you more than words can express. I feel your presence around me all the time and it gives me so much comfort. They say time heals all wounds but it’s not true. The passage of time just makes me realize how much I loved you and it seems so unfair that I have to go through the rest of my life without you. I hope your rest is peaceful. Love you hun

We will never forget you, Rob for your thoughtfulness and kindness for always asking about my brother during his struggles. Your compassion and care just because he was Dan's brother in law. I wish there were more people in this world like Rob, you are greatly missed!

I knew Robbie as a child when we were next door neighbours. He was like the younger brother I never had. Rob, reading through the condolences I learned what a great man you became. My heart goes out to the Cardella family.

I knew Rob when he was a young 15yrs old, I remember first meeting him when I rode my first horse for the Cardella family. Wow, were did all those years go? It seems like yesterday! You'll be greatly missed by the Smith family and all the people you touched along your path, rest in peace old friend and know you'll always be in our prayers..

Rob its still so hard to believe you’re gone , it all happened so fast.
Throughout it all you were the same Rob we all knew and loved.
You never complained and always had a positive matter of fact attitude that I so genuinely admire.
I will hold close all the special times we shared , cottages , concerts ,Christmas and new years gatherings , campfires and just getting together with family and friends, they were times filled with fun and so much laughter.
I will truly miss those moments. and they will never be the same without you.
The memories you left us with will always make me smile and your infectious laugh I will never forget.
Until we meet again Rob rest well . ❤️

I'll never forget the day Dad and I picked Mom up from the hospital with you wrapped up in a blanket as a newborn. Mom was in the front passenger seat of Dads 1968 Blue Delta 88 and I was in the backseat leaning forward looking at him and turning around looked at me and said this is your new baby brother.
Love you Rob...and ill miss you like crazy.
