Linda and I became friendsbecause our daughters were bus buddies and thought we had similar interests. Later we became driving buddies . My eyesight made it better that I not drive, but ask Linda and she would drive anywhere! We went to bazaars, thrift stores, sewing machine repair shops, coat sales and picked up sides of beef from the butcher! Our outings usually included lunch and a lot of laughter. We went to doctor appointments, or shared the results over the phone. Sometimes we just had a cup of tea and a cookie (oatmeal raisin, please) together. One time I casually asked if she wanted to go to Cuba and she immediately said yes! She didn't have to drive that time! We shared stories happy and sad. I will miss her.

So sorry for your loss. I was a neighbour who lived on the 7th Line next to Gord and Donna. Linda and I attended many get togethers at Gord and Donna's. Many years ago Linda and I were part of a group of 7 women who spent a weekend in Collingwood and we were bunk mates. It was a fun weekend.
Just before I moved Donna had a little get together and Linda crochet me 2 dish cloths and now I hate to use them.
With Sympathy
