With great sadness and regret we offer our condolences to the Lange Family. Mrs. Lange to me as we knew her growing up and Anne to my mother who had her as a dear friend whom she could sing with, talk about life and always confide in. As a mother, support person and someone who was always willing to help she was an amazing Lady. Driving and independent into her 90s she seemed like the energizer bunny. She will be remembered for her cheerful disposition and someone who always seemed to see the good in people no matter what. Anne you were a faithful friend to my mother even when she was sick from her stroke. Anne’s faith in God and people were a great tribute to who she was - a wonderful, kind and very very special Lady. My Sister Dasha when she went to pray with you in your last months and days knew of your faith and love for God. We are sure God will welcome you to his kingdom! Thank you for your love and friendship!

Dear Oma…I love you so very much. You have always been there for me and I could never repay that even in a million years from holding my feet when I was a baby and couldn’t sleep to telling me all about Shangrila. The potatoes you made me, snuggling up to you bum to bum and comforting me like no one in my life ever has or most likely ever will. No matter how I felt, you always made me instantly forget about what I ever was upset about, no matter how big it seemed at the time. When I got hurt, you’d make my pain go away. You have always believed in me. You’ve been on my side and never gave up on me even when I did. You are the best Oma in the world and I just wanted to let you know that I LOVE YOU.
XOXOAXOXOXO LOVE CaThie

I loved my Oma very much and I know that she loved me. She always told me and showed it in all her actions. When I think about her, I know that she wouldn't want us to be sad because she is gone. Instead, she would want us to be happy that she was here and to remember her in thoughts, memories and prayers. You have always been an angel to me and to everyone. R.I.P Oma

There are so many wonderful memories that I have of my Oma (grandmother). Some include:
Christmas - waiting for the bell to come and see what St. Nicholas brought
Yearly shipment/package from Germany
Wardair Christmas Parties
Midnight Mass at St. Benedict's or St. Patrick's
Drive to look at the coloured lights at Christmas
Yummy Lebkuchen (gingerbread)
Betnie always fixing his turismo in the driveway or airplanes in the basement
Trips back and forth with Bruno - playing guess that song - I still love the Moody Blues
McDonald’s and Movies in the Basement
Trips up to the lot
Easter Egg Hunts with the entire family
Trip to Germany - Big Beers, Canned Mushrooms, BBQing bacon fat and Bees not bbq'd.
Buttered Semmils (rolls) and german wieners and potato salad
Taking scraps of yarn and turning them into works of Art/Slippers, sweaters,...
Stories of being the designer in an exclusive fashion house in Germany - outfits for General Patton's wife, Barbara Ann Scott...
Hemming work pants
Living during one year of University in Oma's basement - money always went to a different repair (window, door, roof, etc.)
Bike Stolen after being told that it would be safe where it was put - gone the next day
Parking at the end of the driveway so Bruno could park in driveway
Lemon Tea and Coronation Street - Chair in front of TV - don’t disturb
Advice - Solicited and Unsolicited - compelled by duty and love
Never afraid to say it how she saw it
Never afraid to eat what would/could be wasted
Coming up every weekend when she was able to - lead foot lol -driving car
Floating with a noodle in the pool
Always happy to see the girls
Always happy when gifts/food brought
Wanting to help the girls future education vs being the ultimate penny saver - reusing wrapping paper
Frugal on herself but generous on family's needs
Glad we managed to buy some land up north and would like us to hold onto it
Thoroughly enjoyed others successes and made you feel valuable
Speaking with her hands and eyes
She kept us up- to- date on the family as we never heard from anyone except Angie
How proud she was of her kids
Yearly trip to Opa's
The smell of the house in Toronto
Her love of routine and radishes and anything in gravy

To Angela , Elizabeth and Bruno
You had the best of the best of mothers in your mom Anne. Your beautifully written obituary says everything about her and she will be sadly missed .
My last communication with Anne was when she was in hospital and I was able to talk to her for a few mins before the line hung up.
She was a lady in every way and always asked about my family. She loved her 90 th party in the hangar and glowed all the way through.
R.I.P. beautiful soul Anne
