Obituary of Jean Mary LYNCH

Jean Mary Lynch (nee Mielnik), June 25, 1936 – May 29, 2022, of Caledon, passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Headwaters Health Care Centre. Predeceased by her loving husband Martyn Lynch (2003), her beloved parents, Casimura Mielnik (nee Drapola), (1968), Leon Mielnik (1970), and her brother, John (2013). Jean was the retired proprietor of Wooden Bucket Antiques in Caledon. She was admired for her strength and independence. Jean will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kim Thompson, and her son-in-law, Tom Thompson. She was “Oma” to her adored grandchildren Matthew and Emily. The family would like to thank the Mono Mills Firefighters, Station 308, Peel Paramedics, and all staff who compassionately supported her in her final days at Headwaters. Special thanks to Dr. Joshi and Dr. Josephson for their guidance and care. A private family celebration of life will be held.
