Obituary of Emily Angela MULLINS
Mullins, Emily Angela (Angie)
February 25, 1943 – May 16, 2022
Emily Angela Mullins (Angie), at 79 years young, passed peacefully into the next world on Monday, May 16th, 2022, at Southlake Regional Healthcare Centre, Newmarket, and is now reunited with her late husband and love of her life, John Mullins. Angela is survived by her sister Caroline Stafford-Pastel (Ross) and her children Steven Mullins (Lorraine), Tina Pryce (Michael), Richard Mullins, and Jessica Mullins. Angie was Grandmother to Warren, Luke, Ali, Samantha, Hailey, Paige, Kaiya, and Evie.
Angela was a determined, strong, and courageous woman who surmounted many of life’s challenges with grit. Angie was a creative seamstress by trade. She touched many lives and often “saved the day” for many a bride in that stead, over and above what was ever expected. Angie supported many family members, friends, and neighbours through their illnesses and difficult life situations in her lifetime. Angie was generous and giving to anyone needing her assistance. Angela had a passion for gardening, and her legacy in nature will live on in all that she nurtured. Angela held a special place in many hearts and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the Southlake Stronach Regional Cancer Centre’s Doctors and Nurses who supported Angela during the last few difficult months. A special thank you to Pam for taking care of Angie in so many ways.
Angela did not want a formal service, so instead, we hold a celebration of life “come and go” on Monday, June 6th, 2022, from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at In Memoriam Funeral Services, 28 Main Street North, Grand Valley, L9W 5S7. We thank Randy Mugford and staff for their support during this difficult time.
If you choose to donate, please think of the Canadian Cancer Society hoping that better detection and preventative measures can be created to catch this disease earlier.
