Obituary of Kenneth Albert HILLS

Rested peacefully at Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care in Shelburne, ON where he passed on February 19th 2022 at the age of 81. Beloved father of Andrew Hills, Jackie Hills and Kerry DeBattista. Bill DeBattista was honoured to call him his Father-in-law and Ken proudly referred to Bill as a son. Loved deeply by his Granddaughters Taylor DeBattista and Brittany Pignotti. Kenneth will also be missed by his family “across the pond” in England where he was born and raised.

Kenneth (Ken) was a “happy guy” with a typical “British sense of humour”. He made everyone laugh including his caregivers in his long term care home where he lived his final years happily. He was a sensitive soul with a love for gardening and exercise. Ken had a huge heart and his love knew no boundaries. He was proud of his family and had an inseparable bond with his granddaughter Taylor and told stories to the nurses about all of her farm animals. He would often share of how proud he was of what an incredible Chef his granddaughter Brittany was. He was a boasting Grandad.

Ken was loved by all that knew him. He will be greatly missed by so many. May he now rest easy surrounded by love and peace. Cherished always and forever by his family and friends.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life as per Ken’s wishes.
