Dear Dorothy and family,
I am so very very sorry to hear the sad news of Roy’s passing. I only met him a few times during ICDP visits and events; I remember him as such a kind and gentle man .. and clearly so involved and giving to all your foster children whom you both took so lovingly into your care. Life will not be the same for you Dorothy.. such a huge loss after so many years together.. in time you will find peace and comfort in your memories. My sincere condolences to you all.

Dear Dorothy, family & extended family, I am so very sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. I haven’t crossed paths with Roy for some time, however, I have fond memories of him as friendly, soft-spoken and welcoming. I remember, in particular, going along with Roy, Deanna & Aiden to a ‘follow up’ appointment, and popping by Debbie’s on the return drive. Roy was calm and so pleasant to spend the day with. I was always impressed with his apparent ‘go with the flow’ attitude as little ones came to live with you for varying amounts of time, often followed with the obligatory social worker visits and those Infant Development gals! I can only imagine how much Roy will be missed but I am absolutely sure he will not be forgotten. Hold those memories close. Sending healing hugs, Nina Little

Roy, my brother and friend. Your quiet, gentle manner never changed in all the years I have known you. Always ready to help out when needed and all you ever wanted in return was a coffee and lunch. On a scale of 1 to 10 you are a 10. Memories of you whistling Gonna Find Me a Bluebird makes me smile. I am at a loss for words and don't know how to express the loss of you. Love you forever and always in my thoughts. Dorothy, Steve, Debbie, Deanna and Ray, may happy memories help you heal. Love you all.

So many happy memories of Roy. We had something so special, a closeness that was rare.
Your family moved to Orangeville and we followed the next year. We had a trailer, you coming to
the park a few years later.....We actually have the same trailer.
Our many fun trips and get togethers, so many laughs and some tears along the way. We are truly family,
if one travels we all go.
Roy was always there to lend a hand, patiently painting Our house while whistling a tune. The four of us were
never far apart, getting together almost daily.
I especially remember one day when Roy was so ill he asked Dot to call me over for tea. Even though Roy was so ill, we still
had a laugh and a special hug.that I will hold onto forever.
Dorothy, Debbie, Steve, Dea and Ray it's difficult to find words to say how sorry we are. He was certainly a special man.
May your memories comfort you.
Love
Barb and Wayne

Dorothy, Debbie, Steve, Deanna, Raymond, Grandkids & Spouses, here are not enough words to express the sadness that Roy’s passing brings us. Bill & Roy we’re not Brothers by blood but by something that surpasses that. Brothers by LOVE. Roy entered Bill’s life through the marriage of his Dad and Bill’s Mom. Roy became Bill’s big Brother and for many years carted him about with him. When Dot entered the picture they still took him with them. Bill has always looked up to Roy, one of nicest, most giving and caring brother and person one could ever be so lucky to know.
Over the years they weren’t just family, they were friends also.
Like lots of families these days we are separated by distance but always know that if needed, no matter what, we could count on each other.
That will never change for we are family now and forever.
Love to all of you. Roy will never be forgotten. He is and always will be loved and missed.
All our love Bill, Bunny, Greg, Gary and their families. The Tetzlaff’s
