We are so sorry to hear of Mavis' passing. She was a wonderful connection for me to Carol Hughes, my late Aunt and Mavis' friend. I will miss her hugs and loving words. We shared many memories together over the years and they will never be forgotten. I will miss you Mavis. I hope you are up there sharing a laugh with Auntie Carol.

I was sadden to hear of Mavis' passing .. I met her through a dear friend of both of ours Danielle Sweeney... Mavis was such an energetic person... she golfed and other sports , she walked every day with her fur pup, was always on the go and was friends with many... her true devotion of course was to her husband who struggled with health issues... but you would never hear anything about that when we chatted...she was always a positive person and shared laughs and had quite an "english" sense of humour. To her family I send my condolences .. to her friends I ask... raise a cuppa in her honour.. and think of personal moment in time you spent with her... you'll smile and say .. that was Mavis..
