Obituary of Dorthy Margret BENHAM

Mother & wife Dorthy Margret Benham (Fountain) passed away suddenly on Sunday November 14th, 2021 at the age of 69 after unexpected complications from surgery. The last week she was surrounded by her loved ones 24/7 who will strive to honour her memory by living their lives to the fullest, as once again we are reminded life can be short, and you never know what tomorrow brings. The simplest pleasures in life, such as reading True Crime Novels, enjoying her months at the trailer for the past 30 years. She could often be found exploring her gardens, watching the hummingbirds and chipmunks while sitting on her deck. Dorthy is survived by her husband, Bruce: her children Cindy, Michelle (Jason) & Leanne (Mike); her grandchildren Kurtt, Natasha & Avery. Step-children; Mike (Leona), Charlie (Tracey); grandchildren Matt, Christina, Andrew (Holly), Jakob & Gregory; Great grandchildren Leah, Mya and Ellie. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Private Family Funeral Services have taken place. The Family thanks all family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dorthy may be made to the SickKids Foundation.
