To Dianne & family
Our deepest sympathies
I enjoyed working with Brent on the storm sewer crew for many years. Brent always walked with a purpose
and even on those days with very little sleep as he was always working and helping people out.
They say that if you want something done ask a busy person and this exemplifies Brent for sure.
" Rest in Peace Brent"

2300+ hours. That's the amount if hours I have registered in heavy equipment experience. Hour one I was beside Brent. I owe Brent for each and every one of thoughs hours. Without Brent as well as Tedd beside me I never would have never learned and gained the confidence and experience I have today. Everyone can sit back and remember and even hear the laugh Brent had but I still remember on that first night snowplowing I had ran into a curb and broke a part on my blade. I called my mom freaking out not knowing what to do. Right then Brent pulled up and I can still hear him giving me shit not for breaking the blade but for waking up Mrs chief. He looked me in the eye and said no matter what you call.me and I will help you there is nothing I can't fix or help with. Years after Brent no longer snow plowed for the chief and I was well into my career there still hasn't been a winter I have not made that call to Brent for advice. Brent's passing will have lasting effect not only for me and my family but all snowplowers across ontario needing some advice or even a weather update. ...as I sit back and remember all the Brent was i can say no other individual represented themselves as a perfectionist as much as Brent when working on one of my customers jobs always catch myself saying... "how would Brent do this"... Brent will be missed ...RIP my friend!

My deepest condolences to Diane and the family. Brent was an amazing man who taught me a lot about landscaping and life. I wouldn't be where I am today with my business without Brent's guidance and knowledge. He never hesitated to help me when I would call with a question or concern. He will be deeply missed.

To Diane and family please except my heart felt condolences! it was devastating to hear this news!!
Brent and I started working at the city 32 yrs. ago, Not only were we friends at work but also outside of work, and we always referred to each other as MR...
We spent many of those years working together on the same crew whether it was in the summer or those cold winter nights plowing snow I can honestly say we were always a team of our own.
When I became his foremen, no matter what job/s was given to Brent he always took care of business, he always pulled his own weight and worked hard and always took pride in his work.
The public work dept. did not only lose an employee, but lost a mentor to many, and an icon the represents the public works dept. well!
Until we meet again MR......

To Diane and family, please accept my most sincerest condolences on Brent's passing, it was definitely a shock.
Brent and I started our Works careers together at the same time in Brampton, he soon became someone who I could count on with his strong work ethic and enthusiastic "get 'er done!" attitude. His advice, guidance and support was always appreciated. But just as important was his smiles, jokes and laughs, what a great work and personality combination. A loss to Brampton for sure, but a bigger loss to family and friends.
Wishing you and family much strength during these trying times. All the best.

Our hearts are so sad! Brent was one of a kind! He filled the room with laughter and it is hard to imagine a world without him in it. He exemplified the definition of a good guy! He was so kind and generous to anyone who was lucky enough to be in his orbit. Brent loved life! He lived by the motto of “work hard - play hard”. The memories of laughter and time spent at Red Barns are too many to list, but they will be cherished. He was taken way too soon, and we will miss him always. Love Bonnie and Denis

I am deeply saddened to learn of Brent’s passing. He was the nicest dude I ever knew. He made me laugh and he made me shake my head sometimes but most of all he made me smile. Always a joy to be around we would jokingly make fun of each other. Brent showed me at a young and irresponsible age what being a good person really was. Helping others and being kind. Although I never agreed with his choice of beer I’ll be having a couple cold mountain brews in his honour. My most sincere condolences to his family.
