Obituary of Mark Edward BESLEY

January 26, 1965 - June 23, 2021 It is with heavy hearts we share the sudden passing of Mark Besley at age 56. Loving father of Taylor (Nick), Justin, and Kyle (Sarah). He was the beloved son of Eldred (Pat) and the late Lois Besley. He will be remembered by his brothers Dave (Lana), Brian (Debbie), Steve (Chris) as well as many nephews, nieces, family, and friends. Mark will be especially missed by his dear friends Alex and Connie Sawyers and the entire C&G family. In his younger years Mark had a passion for working the Cattle show circuit throughout North America. He was a member of the Dufferin Junior Farmers, a director of the Shelburne Fair Board and volunteered as a Minor hockey coach. Mark was a hard-working individual who enjoyed new work challenges. He loved his children and was proud of all their accomplishments. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate Memorial Donations be made to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Addiction Centre. A private family burial will take place at the Shelburne Cemetery on Tuesday July 20, 2021. A public celebration of life will be held at the Dufferin Public House (Duffy Pub) from 3:00 pm-8:00 pm on Tuesday July 20, 2021.
