Obituary of Judith Caroline BATES

June 10th 1965 - May 1st 2021 On Saturday May 1, 2021 in her home in Grand Valley, Ontario, at the age of 55 after a courage battle with cancer, Judy peacefully passed away with her family by her side. Judy was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend whose kind and generous personality was felt by anyone who knew her. Judy spent most of her life serving insurance clients in both the Orangeville and Georgetown areas and will be sadly missed by them. Judy is predeceased by her father, Herbert Bates (2005), her husband David MacLeod (2003), and nephew Corey Bates (2007). She is survived by her mother, Joan Bates, sisters Leanne Button (Randy), Laurel Bates-Perlman (Josh) and brother Jim Bates, along with nieces and nephews Kyle Bates, Jamie Bates, Amanda Halfacrea, Destanee Sharpe, Chais Button, Dawson Button, Layden Halfacrea, Wyatt Button, Weston Button, Savannah Perlman and Sadie Button. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society in Judy's memory. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date when permitted to do so.
