I lost touch with Sue after I moved away from Guelph. Searching for her this past year sadly I found this obituary, not at all what I was hoping for. We became friends when we were still teenagers in Orangeville. Sue and the Orangeville friends, Paul, Ron and John taught me ASL during the weekends home from EC Drury school. We had such fun.We lost touch in our 20's but reconnected when she was expecting AJ, and I would visit with my children at her home in Shelburne. We lost touch again but I bumped into her and Jonathan on the subway in Toronto. It was nice when we were finally living in the same city and could see each other regularly.
It is with a very sad heart to know my old friend is gone. My deepest condolences to Sue's children AJ ,Lauren and Sophia on the loss of your mother. She was always fun, had a devilish sense of humour and was never far from my thoughts all these years. I do wish I had gone looking for her sooner if only to say a final goodbye.

Sue was such a wonderful friend. We grew up in our deaf school in Milton. We have always had fun at residence. She was very bubbly and laughter a lot whenever we teased each other or play games. I am truly saddened and miss her. She will always in my memory and in my heart. I shall never forget her. My condolences and warmest hugs to your family. xoxo ILY
