Obituary of Helen Ruth WALKER

April 4, 1929 - December 8, 2020 Helen Ruth Walker passed peacefully at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was born on April 4, 1929 to Helen and Lewis Inglis and the sister to Jack. Ruth was known by many names by those who loved her: Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mom, Aunt, Nana, Grandma, Great Gramma, Friend, Ruthie, Lucy. She shared a rich and wonderful life with her husband Bob. The two were inseparable. After his passing in 2005 she focused on her three children, Debra, Glen and Daniel along with their partners and spouses. She was so pound of them and the support she had from them. She was blessed to have had several years to enjoy her Grandchildren David, Amanda, Rachel, Anastasia, and Great Grand Children Ella, Miley and Olivia. Ruth treasured many other extended family members and friends over her rich life and had the most wonderful stories of her time with them. It was not only people that were enjoyed it was special places that made for wonderful memories like: Sedan Ave., Park Home Ave., Nipigon St., Houston Cres, Wasaga Beach, Stoney Lake, and Florida, just to name a few. Special things were also held close as she had many treasured items with rich stories attached to them. She loved to get out for long drives to enjoy the world. She and Bob cherished having their family around as much as possible. Thanks to all who were apart of her care: Dr. Jensen, Staff at Good Samaritan Lodge and especially the caring compassionate team at Matthews House Hospice. In particular her daughter Debra who was always there for her and deserves some very special praise for ongoing acts of love.
