Dear Ronnie, (my baby brother)
Your passing was sudden but thankfully without much suffering. I'm so glad I got to talk to you just days prior. Although we didn't see each other often, I could always count on a big tight hug from you when we did. Just as you held me, I will always hold you now in my heart. Love you!
Linda

Growing up and visiting Nan's through the years was always a comforting feeling, words cannot describe but I will try. Upon entry Nan would give you a "g'day" and a "how are ya today?". Then came whatever uncle Doug was cooking up that would smack you right in the senses and make you salivate with hunger. And then of course you always had to go and find Uncle Ronnie to get some attention from him, he was always pretty easy to find just go find the quietest, most secluded part of the house and he'll be there! He would always say hello and give me a nod but shortly thereafter came the polite "ok, now beat it" look.
I always loved to poke around and see what he was building, he always had something on the go.
RIP Uncle Ronnie, I will always remember you.
Lastly, I just wanted to share with you all one of my favorite possessions that was inspired by a memory I had of Uncle Ronnie. I tracked down a vintage shirt many years ago that I'm sure you have all seen him wear before and our mutual love for Bocephus will forever keep us in our blue jeans and HOG WILD!!!

The Browns posted a condolence
Saturday, December 5, 2020
To Linda and the entire family, out deepest sympathies.
Ronnie was very well known to the Brown family. He and Gary were good friends for 40 plus years. In recent times, Ronnie would come out to "the Browns" to visit with Gary. They would spend Saturday with their carpentry tools creating some exceptional lawn benches and flower boxes (Ronnie's designs), and solving the world's problems with refreshing and lively directness. Our whole family misses Ronnie: Gary's mother, Pauline, his sister Sharon, her husband, Robert, and even Shadow, their faithful four-legged buddy. We wish you all comfort in cherished memories.

Although I am overwhelmed with sadness about his passing, I take comfort in knowing that my uncle Ronnie is with Nanny again. I'm sure he has found his way to Gramps, Betty and Doug too. What a reunion that will be for them.
I'm so glad to have something to remember him by-the handcrafted wooden barn he made for me when I was a kid. Although it's a little beaten up after all these years from being played with so much, as my own kids now play with it to this day, it is even more special to me than it was before. I will always cherish it.
Uncle Cootie, you will not be forgotten. With love, Amanda

To Linda/Jim and the entire family.
It is with a heavy heart that I must write this note.
Cootie and I have been friends for 25 years. We had a lot of laughs and good times together. He was always willing to help with any project I had to do around the house. He was a very smart man when it came to building or fixing something. He loved working with his hands and wood working was his passion.
Lori and I will miss him greatly.
Our deepest sympathy to the Kerr family.
