Auntie Jean I have very special memories of our time together. Lots of laughs and good times with you and Uncle Doug will be cherished always. I remember all our weekends together growing up so fondly. Your trips to visit me at Sick kids when Ashley was so fragile and the yummy food you lovely baked and brought down. Sue, Sandy and Micheal and family I'm so sorry for your loss sending you our sympathies and warmest thoughts. I hope your memories help to ease your loss somehow. I'm so sorry we can not be there in person to give you a big hug. All our love Sherry & Ian, James, Damon, Ashley and Taylor Caldwell

I’m so sorry to hear the sad news about your Mom. She was always so proud of all of her children and grandchildren.
I remember Jean for her friendship, kindness, generosity, and desire to make life easier for everyone. It wasn’t unusual for Jean to show up with treats or gifts .... just because. You could always count on the wisdom of her sound advice and her courage to stand up for what she felt was right.
As long as there are pansies, Jean will be remembered. ... Oh how she loved pansies!
My condolences to all who loved her.

My thought and prayers go out to all of Jean's family. I was fortunate to have known Jean as a work colleague and a friend. Jean was always lending a helping hand to everyone she met. She was so proud of her family and talked of them often. Jean will be sadly missed.

Sincere condolences on Jean’s passing. I am so lucky to have known her from my working days, as well as being a sorority sister. I was blessed to have her as a friend.
I am still using a tea towel that she brought back from Portugal when she travelled there many years ago, and I think of her every time I use it! She brought one back for each of her sorority sisters. That’s just a small example of her generous nature.
Special hugs going out to Mike and Michele.

Losing someone you love so dearly is a pain that our minds can never fully understand. It is only the heart that knows that this ache is one that is felt so deeply because it is a reflection of the unconditional, intangible, and infinite love that we feel for those we have lost. My heart is heavy and full, with grief and love in memory of my sweet Aunt Jean. What comes to mind: her beautiful smile that lit up the room (you couldn't help but smile too); her warm, joyful laugh that I can hear when I close my eyes; the comforting, safe, feeling I got when she gave me a hug (those hugs were the best!). I was so lucky to have Jean as my aunt, and I cherish the memories of those times spent with her. Sending all my love to Sue, Sandy, and Mike.

We have many fond memories of Jean over the years. She loved to play cards, Rummicube etc and loved puzzles. Her map making skills were always appreciated when we wanted a shortcut back to Ottawa from Barrie. Her hospitality was top of the line as she always had delicious lunches and snacks prepared for our visits. We are sad that Covid limited our ability to visit with her as we were looking forward to seeing her once things are settled down. As everyone knows, she was a kind caring person who always put others needs before her own. The picture we attached is from our last visit with her at Simcoe Terrace. May she rest in peace.
