Obituary of Winston Roy BUTTON

August 23, 1942 - October 6, 2020 Our beloved, Winston Roy Button passed away suddenly on October 6, 2020 at 78 years of age. He was a resident at Dufferin Community Living, in Orangeville, Ontario. He was born to loving parents, Annie May and Wesley Norman Button in Lead Cove, NL. Winston is survived by his sisters, Loretta Morgan, and Renee Button, his nieces Deborah Morgan, Cheryl Button, LeeAnn Button, Jill Gill, Leah Poteet, Jeannine Smith and his nephews, Glenn Morgan and Vincent Poteet. Winston was predeceased by his parents, Annie May and Wesley Norman Button, his brother Harvey Lloyd Button, his sister Sylvia Poteet, his niece, Dawn Poteet and his nephews Gary Button, Travis Poteet, his brother-in-law, Lawrence Morgan and his sister-in-law, Shirley Button. Winston was a very special person who faced many challenges throughout his life. Winston worked at “The Joinery” for many years, learning various skills. Winston learned “sign language” and he used it well! He loved music, loved to dance, and loved to laugh. He was very affectionate and such a kind, gentle sole and left an impression on everyone he touched. We would like to acknowledge the caregivers at Dufferin Community Living for there continual support and kindness towards Winston throughout the years.
