Jim was a neighbor of ours for 28 years in Mono Mills. From day 1, he was there with a helping hand, some advice, or simply to shoot the breeze. We helped one another on many projects and shared a laugh every time we talked. Our open garage doors were a sign for either to pop over for a visit.
Bena and I got together with Jim and Rose a few times over the years, and always hit it off well. I now only wish it had been many many more times.
He was as honest, caring, respectful, humorous, intelligent and kind a person as I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and being friends with.
A gigantic hole has been left in me by his passing, and I will think of him fondly for my remaining time.
I will miss you Jim. Thank you for being such a friend. There is much I have, and still can learn from you.
Rest in peace .

Jim and I first met in Amsterdam, where we became friends. Jim was a great guy, and I have many fond memories of our times together. I enjoyed his opinions on certain music, he was very knowledgeable.
As both of our families were growing we enjoyed our yearly get togethers to go camping.
Our condolences go out to Rose, Jamie, Mark and Andrew.

Our deepest condolences to the Reid Family. We have had the pleasure of dealing with Jim for many years. He was the best sales representative you could possibly have. There was nothing too small or two large for him to handle. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
I have had the pleasure of hearing the story on how he met his wife and the smile that came across his face every time he told it was full of love. He would tell us about his mechanic projects that he was attempting with his sons all with a smile and a chuckle.
His absence since he has been retired has been missed...and it is because of the great conversations we have all had with him as well as the friendships we built with Jim.
Our hearts are with you at this very difficult time. May you find peace in your memories and may they help you smile and laugh at the memories you have together.
Rest in peace Jim.

Dear Rosemary, I’m so very sorry for your loss! My heart aches for you & your family. I’ll always remember Jim as a warm & charming host whenever I came to visit you. Such a wonderful husband & Father will be missed, most of all by you & the ‘boys’ but also by all who had the honour of knowing him.
Much love,
