Obituary of Garth Lyle SCHMALENBERG
It is with great sadness and the deepest sense of loss that we announce the passing of Garth Lyle Schmalenberg, who slipped away from us while surrounded by the love of family in his home on Thursday July 2, 2020, at the age of 62.
Loving husband to Mojgan Schmalenberg, devoted father to Ryan and daughter in-law Bahiyyih, adoring grandfather to precious granddaughter Tala and beloved brother to his siblings and their spouses Dale and Julia Schmalenberg, Joy and Pat Dance, Celia and Timo Tikka, Blair and Lolita Schmalenberg, and sister in law Mina Moayed.
Garth will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, gentle demeanor, sharp intellect, wonderful sense of humor, and above all, his enchanting voice. He will be sorely missed by family and friends and those who came to know him.
Due to the global pandemic, an intimate ceremony will be held at the graveside to celebrate Garth’s life on Monday, July 6th, at the Morningside Cemetery in Palgrave.
In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Schmalenberg Family.
