I am so sorry to hear this and for your loss. I was a long time customer to Dave right up to his retirement. It was hard just to see the shop sit empty for awhile but now this.
He was definitely one of the good guys. Always a pleasure to shoot the breeze with him and whoever else was hanging around in the shop. One of those mostly lost breed of people who you are happy to do business with and though you don't see outside of that would still describe as your friend.
My heart goes out to all his family and friends. RIP

I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Worked with him for years at the Esso in Dundas, then for him when he took the operation over from Bud.
Dave was a great guy and treated me very well. I always appreciated being around him, Denis and Pete at the garage. We had some fun.
I remember him opening up his house to us when we played a little ball and water skiing down at the Burlington beach strip.
My condolences to everyone in the Pittaway family.
R.I.P. Dave.

My Dad introduced me to Dave back in the 80's. Dad told me that Dave would look after me (my car) like I was his own daughter...and he did. Dave's smile was contagious. Sending my sincerest condolences to the family.
