August 23rd, a sad day, we lost your father, but a happy day turned around. On a cruise to Alaska you and I renewed our vows and reaffirmed our love presided by the Zaandam’s Captain. The words we said were especially important to us. Having wed at very young ages I’m not certain that we even knew the measure of commitment we were vowing to each other. After 25 years we knew exactly. After 48 years of marriage I know even more about you. You are an amazing man. I have never heard Ron say an unkind word about anyone, never heard him tell a lie. Ron was happy, always smiling, always kind, always helping others, and enjoyed life. Ron, I miss you so much and love you so much. More love than I thought I was even capable of giving. A life so beautifully lived should be beautifully celebrated. Love you....‘Lo’

Our deepest sympathy Laurel and family. I was so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I have such fond memories of Ron from high school. From our trip to McDonalds in Brampton when we were in high school and him putting his dad's car in the ditch. Ron and Laurel were such great neighbours to Vern's mom. Rest in Peace Ron you will not be forgotten.
