Darlene and family, I was saddened to hear of John's passing. As you may know he and I were at BCSS together and we kept bumping into each other over the years. John was a quiet leader then but had a significant presence in the school. He had a deep rudder and all of these qualities I saw in your children as they passed through Notre Dame. He was a fine man. I am so sad to hear of Johns passing. It was many years ago when I coached Johns wife and his sisters in laws womens baseball team John was always helpful and always willing to host celebrations
I remember most his smile. It was something he used most of the time.

John was a huge part of our team and a friend to all. First guy in and last to leave. He made my day, every day. Lots of laughs and great conversations. It doesn’t seem fair that you had to leave this way. So much more to come. Fair winds brother.
