My Mother was such a determined special woman. She was not going to go down without a fight. Even after having a quarter of her brain removed she kept on walking for as long as she could until her legs wouldn't work any more. She taught us many things. We never expected Mom to go through so much and I wonder why she had to endure so many years of suffering. Before Mom got sick she was so full of life. She raised us kids alone, with so much strength, working so hard to keep her family together. She loved family and going places. She would hold huge family Christmas dinners and summer bbq's and instilled in us how important it was for families to stick together. We travelled to many places camping in Ontario. We went to festivals and fairs, zoos and drive-ins, buffet resteraunts and craft shows. We played board games and had bbq's. We went to dances and bars, concerts and watched movies together. We visited museums and did nature hikes. Mom had a wide variety of interests, hobbies, and loved all sorts of music. She was a really fun person. We did so many things together, so many memories that I will always cherish. I am so thankful that I made the time to do these things with her. Mom believed strongly in the afterlife, so I have no doubt that she is here with us right now, watching, and helping us through her departure. She will carry on, like a bright shining star, with many ,many more adventures. I am sad for our entire family that we are losing her life here on earth, but rest assured, we will see her again on the other side. I love you Mother Dear, and I will miss you so very much xo Kathleen
