Obituary of James (Jim) Allen Rodney

James (Jim) Allen Rodney 29 June 1935 - 12 December 2015 Jim passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He will be so sadly missed by his wife June of 57 years. His daughters Lynne (Peter) Julie (Rob) Karen (Gary). He was a dear Poppa to Stephanie, Kyle (Vanessa), Brittany (Kurtis), Andrew (Kaylyn), Patrick (Shayna), Devyn, Josh (Jenn), Olivia (Sam) and a Great Poppa to Layton, Bennett and Landon. Jim's family and friends in Canada and Northern Ireland will miss him and his sense of humor. Donations in Jim's memory to a charity of your choice will be very appreciated. Jim was a proud Royal Navy Veteran and enjoyed being a member of the Royal Canadian Legion # 233. The family would like to thank Dr.Karen Sandhu, Bayshore Nurses and Natalie at Hospice Dufferin for their support and making Jim's last few months peaceful for him. A celebration of his life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion, John Street, Orangeville on Sunday January 10, 2016 from 2-6 All are Welcome. As you rest in peaceful sleep, your memory we will always keep forever in our hearts.
